Thomas Byrne MIPAV – Founder
Thomas Byrne established the practice in 1973 and dedicated his career to building one of the most respected estate agencies in Drogheda and the North East. Over the decades, he developed an exceptional depth of knowledge in all aspects of property services and became a trusted valuer for leading financial institutions, often called upon to resolve complex disputes.
From 1977 onwards, Thomas advised and managed the sale of every new residential development for the Shannon Homes Group in Drogheda and the North East. These renowned schemes—celebrated for their quality and design—include Rosevale, Westcourt, Mount Sandford, Sienna Convent, Wheaton Hall, and the landmark Grange Rath development. Grange Rath remains one of the finest mixed-use residential communities in the region, comprising over 1,000 homes. In total, Thomas successfully sold more than 3,500 brand new homes for Shannon Homes alone.
Thomas passed away in 2019, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, integrity, and deep local expertise that continues to guide our practice today.
Brendan Byrne BA, MIPAV, Assoc SCSI, TRV – Owner
Brendan joined the practice in 2003 after graduating from Trinity College. He is an Associate Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and a Member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers. In 2016, Brendan earned the prestigious TEGOVA TRV qualification, reinforcing his authority in property valuation.
Brendan plays a key role in all aspects of the residential market and brings specialist expertise to commercial property. He has successfully negotiated numerous leases at Southgate Shopping Centre since its opening in 2008 and was instrumental in the development of the modern mixed-use scheme at Donacarney Village Square—a landmark addition to East Meath’s retail landscape.

Denise Toner - Office Manager
Denise joined the company, in 2015 as a part-time Administrator, but quickly learned the business under the guidance of the late Thomas Byrne and was duly appointed Office Manger. Denise is the first point of contact in the office and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office, managing daily administrative tasks and client queries.
